EDF 3604—General advice to students
The following strategies have made the difference in learning and grades at the end of the semester in this course, according to my observation and former students' comments:
- Studying for quizzes and exams with a fellow student.
- Talking with friends and family outside class about the issues raised in class.
- Drafting papers with enough time to proofread.
- Checking the draft perspectives paper against the rubric.
- Creating a "to-do" list of needed revisions after reading your draft.
