Every third renewal, you must complete a two hour continuing education course on domestic violence.

SMHCA' Spring Symposiums are always a big success!!!

The Spring Symposium was a great success with 60 participants attending. Out of the 60 participants, 53 evaluations were returned. Ninety-five percent of the participants indicated that the program was worth attending.

In addition, participants provided very encouraging feedback. The following are some examples of  their responses, “Thank you all for this information.  This will be greatly needed as I enter my journey through the internship process.”

“Was an excellent way to give information to students finishing up their masters—good info on exam, licensing process and what is required of a registered intern,”

“Wonderful. Well worth the time.  I’ll be joining,”

“Symposium was overall very helpful to me, as I graduate in 2 semesters.  I hope they have something like this each year.”
