Reaching and working for peace.

Aloha Everyone:

As many of you know, Dr. Judy Daniels and I work with the UH Athletic Department. One of the more spiritually-grounded student-athletes we have worked with over the years recently sent Judy a website that includes an interview with God as well as a profound statement about peace.

In addition to thanking the student-athlete and Judy for sharing this interesting and inspiring website, I wanted to offer it as a gift to all of you... a gift of peace as we continue to challenge ourselves about the important role educators, counselors, and psychologists can play in transforming our schools and communities in ways that promote peaceful literacy, social justice and a greater level of sanity in our world.

As we approach the upcoming election I hope you will get out and vote and when you do that you will choose peace over war... justice over greed and deception.... love for the human family over divisive arrogance and ethnocentric thinking...
