Misión y
Objetivos
La
misión de iSip es promover la investigación y la colaboración entre las
psicólogas y los psicólogos miembros de SIP en las Américas.
Los
objetivos específicos de esta publicación son (a) el divulgar las
investigaciones realizadas por los miembros de la SIP y (b) publicar los
reportes periódicos de los grupos de trabajo de la SIP.

Investigación SIP (iSIP) es publicada por la Sociedad
Interamericana de Psicología. Este servicio para sus miembros es
abierto al público.
Resúmenes
de Investigación.
Las contribuciones deben incluir una breve descripción de
la investigación que incluya las siguientes secciones:

Titulo y autores.
-
Introducción – breve descripción del estudio y sus
hipótesis o preguntas de investigación.
-
Población – tipo de participantes incluidos en el
estudio.
-
Método – breve descripción de la metodología usada.
-
Resultados – breve descripción de los resultados.
-
Conclusiones – breve discusión de los resultados y sus implicaciones.
-
Contacto – nombre y email de la persona que los interesados en esta
investigación pueden contactar.
Estas
contribuciones pueden resumir presentaciones que los miembros han hecho
en el congreso de la SIP u otras conferencias profesionales, artículos
sometidos a la consideración para publicación de revistas profesionales
o académicas o que pueden ser sometidos a tal consideración en el futuro.
Publicación de los resúmenes de investigación, dado su carácter, no
previene la posterior publicación de estas investigaciones en revistas
científicas.
Tamaño:
Las
contribuciones no deden exceder las 600 palabras, deben utilizar un
lenguaje inclusivo por género, etnia, edad, origen nacional, orientación
sexual, impedimento u otras características sociodemográficas, y pueden
ser enviadas uno de los cuatro idiomas oficiales de la Sociedad, español,
inglés, francés y portugués.
Publicación:
Los editores de iSIP se reservan la decisión de publicación y pueden
enviarán a los autores o autoras recomendaciones de modificaciones que
puedan facilitar su publicación. Los autores o autoras mantienen los
derechos de impresión y de reproducción de sus artículos en cualquier
forma y medio. Reproducciones de la información publicada en iSIP pueden
ser hechas siempre y cuando se indique claramente la fuente.

La
información, opiniones, puntos de vista y conclusiones expresadas en los
artículos son de responsabilidad exclusiva de los autores y no reflejan
o comprometen la opinión y política científica de la SIP o de los

Mission and Objectives
The mission of iSip is to promote research and collaboration among
psychologists of the different countries of the Americas that are member
of SIP.
The
specific objectives of this publication are (a) to publicize the research
done by members of the SIP and (b) publish periodic reports of task forces
of the SIP.

General Information:
Research SIP (iSip) is published by the Interamerican Society of
Psychology. It is a service to the members that it is open to the public
Research Summaries:
The
contributions should include a brief description of the investigation
that includes the following sections:

Title and authors.
-
Introduction – brief description of the study and the hypothesis or
the questions under investigation
-
Sample – the type of participants included in the study
-
Method- brief description of the method used
-
Results - brief description of the results.

Conclusions – brief discussion of the results and their implications
-
Contact – email of the person responsible for the investigation so
that others may contact him or her.
The
contributions can be summaries of presentations that members have made
at a SIP congress or another professional congress, articles submitted
for publications in professional or academic journals, or that may be
submitted for consideration in the future. Publication of these
summaries of research, due to their brevity, do not affect the
subsequent publication of these studies in scientific journals.
Length: The contributions cannot exceed 600 words. They should use
inclusive language with respect to gender, ethnicity, age, national
origin, sexual orientation, physical ability and other sociodemographic
characteristics, and they can be sent in any one of the four official
languages of the society, including Spanish, English, French, or
Portuguese.
Publication: The editors of iSIP make the decision about whether to
publish and reserve the right to suggest modifications to the author or
authors. The author or authors maintain the rights of authorship.
Information published in iSIP can be reproduced provided that the source
is clearly indicated.
