Welcome to the home page for EME 6930 Programming Languages in Education: Visual BASIC as a Research Tool, a technology-mediated course offered through the Instructional Technology Program in the Department of Secondary Education of the College of Education at the University of South Florida. (This course can be used to satisfy part of the language requirement for Ph.D. programs in Education governed by USF graduate catalogs published before Fall 1999. However, those requirements were revised around 1998 to offer many more options, and starting with the 1999-2001 catalog they may have been done away with altogether for you (depending upon your program), so you should consult with your major professor in this matter.) (If you have happened upon this page and are interested in becoming a Distance Learner, send me an email message detailing how you meet these prerequisites: graduate standing, fluency with Microsoft Windows 95/98 (or later) and applications, ability to use telecommunications for email and binary file transfer, access to appropriate hardware, and previous programming experience.)
