STUDENT RESEARCH | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
As part of the SLA/IT program, Ph.D. students are required to actively participate in research the fields of Second Language Acquisition and Instructional Technology. During their Ph.D. studies and through their coursework, students make conference presentations and publish in peer-reviewed journals, often in collaboration with their colleagues and/or faculty. All topics of research projects are tailored to students' interests. They may focus on second language acquisition, foreign language instruction, foreign language teacher development and training, integration of instructional technology in foreign language instruction, issues on theoretical perspectives, and the like.
