Information for International Students

You are strongly encouraged to read the information on the website of the International Students and Scholars Office (ISS). This website contains important information for international students. The website is http://global.usf.edu/isss/index.php.

The phone number for ISS is (813) 974-5102. There is information provided on the website for new students that you may find helpful: http://global.usf.edu/isss/prospect.html.

If international students need a bank, the USF credit union is a convenient choice. Students can open accounts based on their student status. They may be required to bring their passports and other items with them when opening the account. (Having a US social security card will help expedite the process). If students have an assistantship they can have their salary directly deposited into their account at the credit union USF Credit Union.
