You can search the USF - Class Schedule to find out if the following Recommended USF Courses are being offered.  It may be helpful to write down the Prefix and Course Numbers (Ex. RED 4310) before you search the schedule of classes.

NOTE:  This is a NEW coverage effective July 1, 2002.  Individual areas under special education such as EH, MH, SLD, VE and PI are no longer available. Also EFFECTIVE July 1, 2002, mastery of Subject Area Knowledge (specialization requirements) can be met  EITHER  by passing the Subject Area Exam  OR  by meeting these course-by-course requirements.  Not all school districts will hire applicants who choose these options.  Some districts prefer to hire applicants who have a degree in special education.  Check with your district before choosing either of these options!
