Region IV Resource Center

RLC: Regional Literacy Center

The RLC is dedicated to providing support to adult literacy education systems within volunteer literacy programs, community- and faith-based organizations, and public library systems in the fifteen counties of Region IV.

This state leadership project is funded by the Florida Department of Education Division of Workforce Development and designed to facilitate the planning and delivery of professional development services, provide literacy resources, and support communication and collaborative efforts among the diverse literacy agencies. Individuals representing leadership from regional literacy agencies are eligible for membership in the Region IV Training Council in order to increase the capacity of Florida's adult education system and its regional personnel to innovate, apply new ideas, and enhance the effectiveness of professional development of adult educators.
