Office Software
Standard software is installed on every faculty member's computer. This includes the following licensed software:
Microsoft Windows XP or Mac OS X
Microsoft Office 2007
Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro
iTunes
Atlas
EndNote
McAfee
Mozilla
SAS
SPSS
Relevant system software can be installed as well (i.e., if your computer has a DVD burner, the software to create DVDs will also be installed). Software can only be installed on University-owned computers. Licenses exclude personal computer systems.
A campus license for Captivate software was recently purchased and has been installed in the COEDU second floor lab. With Adobe Captivate 4 software, an individual may rapidly author professional eLearning content with advanced interactivity, software and scenario simulations, quizzes, and other engaging experiences.
