STAGES Spotlight on Ciana

Hi, my name is Ciana I started STAGES in August 2006 and I am graduating for STAGES in May 2008.

I am glad I was in this program because I learned job skills and job training. I learned how to be successful. I loved job training at Patel because the people are so nice. In Dr. Cranston’s class, you can learn more about the life you are going to live.

Best Buddies helped me get along with other Buddies and helped raise money for different events.  My Best Buddy is Valerie.  She is a nice person.  I love to hang around with her.  We go out to eat and go shopping.  She is the best Buddy I ever had. 

My dream job is to open up my own restaurant and to manage it.

My advice for the new students is to have confidence in yourself, speak your mind and follow your dreams.

From the parents: “This testimony is to celebrate the outstanding milestone that the STAGES program has help Ciana through.  She (We) has had many good experiences and some bumps in the road.  But I am thankful that Ciana had the confines and support of the STAGES program to help her through her transition from girl to young lady”.
