STAGES Spotlight on Shanae

On my first day, I got up that morning and I drove to USF. It was like I was in high school all over again getting up in the morning. I walked into the classroom and this lady name Ms. Dora said, “Good morning Shanae”.

Ms. GiGi walked out of her office and said “Hello, Good morning” and everyone in the classroom started on their assignments. I’m still learning about the USF Campus. I’m getting my 1st college experience at USF. Ms. GiGi is a really good person and she shows us that she really cares about her students, and I love that. She shows me how to make it in this life time. That is really good for me because I don’t know how to do some things like working on the computer and how to act on interviews.

 My 1st day at STAGES was a great experience because now I know that there are some teachers out there that really care about me and my future. STAGES is a good program for any student no matter what. Thank you all.

Shanae obtained full-time employment on February 11, 2008

as a teacher’s aide for Moffitt Bright Horizon on USF campus. Shanae will have full benefits ( i.e. health, life and dental insurance)

and a 401K!
