Ann Winch Fellowship (Deadline 10/13/2006)

Narrative

Ann Winch served USF for over 30 years as a loyal member of the staff and as a volunteer leader in the Alumni Association. She also served as president of THUSFAR, The USF Association of Retirees. She exemplified the very best in loyalty and leadership. Ann was a Charter Donor of the Named Scholars Program and a Life Member of the President's Council. In extending this Fellowship, it was Ann Winch's desire to encourage and enable mature students in their pursuit of a Graduate Degree to promote scholarship and leadership at the graduate level. The Ann Winch Fellowship will award a $1,000 stipend for the Spring 2007 semester.

Dr. Myndall Hall Stanfill Memorial Scholarship in Educational Leadership

This scholarship is for graduate students in Education Leadership demonstrating quality performance as a classroom teacher. Contributions to school in Leadership capacity, and evidence of potential for school leadership. Presence to Pasco residents. One $500 award per year or $250 per academic year.

2005 Berbecker Scholarship (application)

The Lillie and Walter Berbecker Scholarship is designed to honor and reward advanced graduate students’ commitment to hard work and excellence and to provide financial support that fosters more focused graduate study.

The Berbecker Scholarship provides an opportunity for advanced graduate students who are preparing for a leadership position in public K-12 schools or a college/university faculty position in the field of Educational Leadership/Administration to receive financial support that assists them in engaging in full-time graduate studies and participating in teaching, research, writing, or other academic activities of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies such as:

  • Library research
  • Web-based research
  • Project-related research
  • Program evaluation
  • Data collection
  • Preliminary data analysis

ROTC Scholarship - SMP Program

The objective of the ROTC Simultaneous Membership Program is to provide more ROTC graduates for the Selected Reserve. The ROTC/SMP is an officer training program that requires Reserve Component (RC) enlisted status in a Troop Program Unit (TPU) for eligibility, either the Army Reserve or the National Guard. Enlisted members of TPU who contract in the ROTC Advance Course must assume SMP status, or be discharged from their unit. They cannot remain in a TPU as a contracted ROTC cadet unless they assume SMP status.
