Scholarships

Florida Fund for Minority Teachers Scholarship (FFMT)


FFMT is a collaborative performance-based scholarship program for African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Native American Indian students.

The primary purpose of this program is to attract beginning education majors and community college graduates who are capable and promising minority students interested in pursuing teaching careers in Florida public schools. The scholarship is offered to Florida residents who are newly enrolled as upper-division undergraduates.  

Application must be submitted on or before August 1, in Student Academic Services (EDU 106).
