Pre-Education Advising
Resources and Information
Thank you for your interest in the College of Education at the University of South Florida. The College of Education is an upper-level, limited-access college. This means there are prerequisites that students must complete before gaining admission into the College of Education. The admissions process to the College is separate and in addition to admission to the University.
Note: If you have designated your regional campus as your main campus, check with the advising office on that campus for the appropriate advisor.
College of Education Admission Requirements
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Must have been admitted to USF (USF Application)
- Must have fulfilled the appropriate prerequisite coursework
- Must have passed all sections of either the CLAST, Praxis I, or General Knowledge Test by submission of application and have copy(s) of official or official score report(s) demonstrating this has been done attached to applicatoin
- Disclosure of Arrest & Conviction
- College of Education Application (App & Submission Dates)
