Living Learning Community: eduCARE

Want to find your own place in the large USF community?

Become a part of eduCARE, the College of Education’s Living Learning Community!

LLCs connect academics with the residential experience.  Each fall, 30 students majoring in education will live and learn together on USF’s campus in Beta Hall.  There, you’ll be able to surround yourself with others who share similar interests and goals.  You will have a support system that will help you build a strong foundation for your success.

“Being a part of the LLC has helped me transition into college life alongside a cohort of people who have the same passion for teaching as I do.  This shared passion motivates me to keep my love for teaching alive.”

–Chrys W., Early Childhood Education Major

“I love the LLC!  This was the best decision I could have made in college.  The LLC really helped me make a smooth transition from home to USF.  I feel so accepted and love all of my LLC mates!  I have made many lifetime friends.  I am so glad to be a part of the LLC!”

–Breanne B., Early Childhood Education Major

“The advising in the LLC couldn't be more helpful toward helping me achieve my goal of graduating in three years.  I've made plenty of great friends and learned about employment opportunities.  My decision to join the LLC turned out to be one of the best choices I have made.”

–August P., Secondary Social Science Education Major

“The LLC is a great place to be!  My advisors are always right at hand, and my floor mates are amazing.  LLC has taught me more about compromise and how to be a better person. I have grown up and I can see things from different points of view.”

- Erika W., Secondary English Education Major

"I was originally going to live in another hall, but after orientation, I realized the many benefits of the LLC.  Changing my plans turned out to be a great decision!  I do everything I can to enhance the LLC experience for everyone involved and always try to get us together as much as possible.”

-Jenna R., Exceptional Student Education Major

“Joining the LLC has been the best decision that I have made since starting at USF!  It has provided me with multiple opportunities to be successful, including seminars about USF programs, socials with staff and faculty, and a mentoring program.”

-Brittany N., Elementary Education Major

“Brittany is delighted with the LLC.  She mentions you often and I could see that you are quickly becoming her role model!  Thanks so much for helping her to adjust to college life.  My son who is now an RA at USF is a junior who resided in the Bulls Business Community for the first two years of college.  He has greatly benefitted from the LLC, and we are so pleased Brittany has this opportunity in the education community.”

–Janice N., Parent of LLC Student
