COEDU SACS ASSESSMENT

Graduate Level Assessment Plans

According to the recently revised SACS standards, accredited institutions are required to identify expected student outcomes, assesses the extent to which they achieve these outcomes, and provide evidence of improvement based on analysis of the results for all degree programs.  COEDU faculty members are currently in the process of identifying and clarifying important student learning outcomes to incorporate into our revised Assessment Plans for the 2008-2009 academic school year.  The University Assessment Committee has provided an Assessment Plan template to guide these efforts.  Further, to assist in this endeavor, we have been working on a set of common rubrics that may be used and adapted to serve specific disciplinary needs.
