Global Reach...FCIT Garners Over ONE BILLION Hits!


The Florida Center for Instructional Technology (FCIT) is located in the College of Education and is funded by the Florida Department of Education.  FCIT offers a wealth of on-line publications and products that is attracting world-wide attention.

The map below illustrates the visits to FCIT websites by country. Green shows countries visiting at least one of the FCIT pages within the past month. Since January 1, 2006, there have been over ONE BILLION hits (1,077,326,734) from around the globe, to FCIT websites.  For the calendar year 2008, FCIT registered 400,561,864 hits!  The average number of hits per school day is over ONE MILLION.  There were 1,467,297 hits on January 28, 2009!
