On February 9, 2008 Wishnatzki Farms hosted the 3rd Annual Strawberry Pro-Am Tennis Tournament at Avila Golf and Country Club in Tampa, Florida to benefit the endowed Wishnatski Family Migrant Scholarship.

The Wishnatzki Family Migrant Scholarship assists in the funding of a graduate degree in education at the University of South Florida College of Education for a student from a migrant or seasonal farm worker family. The purpose of the fellowship is to help develop leaders from the migrant and seasonal farm worker community who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for children whose families are engaged in farm work.

The Strawberry Pro-Am Tennis Tournament featured pros paired with individual women and men to compete.  The tournament drew 11 major team sponsors such as Mercedes-Benz of Tampa, Outback Steakhouse, Jaguar of Tampa, and Green Giant, and a variety of logo and banner sponsors such as Hammer Howell, the USF College of Education, and Publix Supermarket Charities.

Team sponsors also included Sierra Foundation, Inc., Monte Package Company, Dickman Foundation, Sarasota Ford, Temple Inland, Sterlings Ultra Precision, Inc., Pacific Tomato Growers, and Paradise, Inc.
