Stavros Center on Thursday, October 25. A diverse group of nearly 100 people packed into the Stravros Center to hear the Prince speak about “Building a Future of Prosperity for Africa Through Education and Economic Development.” Prince Selassie answered questions from the audience very candidly. He said, “Now with technology, that is our only hope…otherwise, we will not be able to compete in the global markets. It’s not where it should be, but it’s taken a life of its own, and I think it will continue.” He also recognized that, “Education is the single-most effective way to improve the lives of Africans.”
