Advanced Graduate Handbook

Ed.D. Program Structure

The following outline describes the general structure of the Ed.D. program.  The program must include at least one supervised practicum or field experience. All credit hours listed represent minimum requirements.  Programs may require additional hours as deemed appropriate.

  1. At least 16 of 24 hours must be at the 7000 level or in 6000 level courses for  which advanced graduate standing is a prerequisite.
  2. At least 3 hours at 6000 level or above of computer applications.
  3. At a minimum, a supervised 1-3 hour field experience (e.g., practicum) in the specialization area is to be included.
