The Master ' s Degree in the Gifted Education program offers a 36 hour Master's Degree that features an individualized practicum in your own district, a flexible program schedule, and a portfolio in lieu of comprehensive examinations. A Graduate Certificate in Gifted Education is available to teachers, administrators, parents, school psychologists, and others interested in gifted endorsement. The program requires students to complete all 5 courses (15 hours) in gifted education online through USF.

Students must apply for the Graduate Certificate no later than 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester in which they intend to take courses.

Students may apply courses taken in this program to the MA in Gifted Education.

 

 

 


Educators seeking fewer than  5 courses (15 hours) in gifted endorsement coursework, please apply as a non-degree seeking student. These courses may be applied to the Graduate Certificate before 6 hours of coursework are completed. Courses may also be applied to the MA in Gifted Education.
