Online Gifted Education Program


Students of the Online Gifted Education Program (including MA, Graduate Certificate, and Non-Degree students) pay “Tampa on-campus” tuition rates. Below are approximate rates for tuition per semester for the 2005-2006 academic year.   • Non-degree: $30

Electronic Portfolio
Chalk and Wire Subscription (MA Students Only)

  • Year 1: $45
  • Renewal each subsequent year: $15

Textbooks
Approximately $75 per course, though this varies. Textbooks may be purchased online through the USF Textbook store.

Fees
Some courses may require additional fees, which would be no more than $75 according to university guidelines.

Computer
Though personal computer ownership is not required, it is strongly recommended, so that candidates can complete assigned readings and submit work from home. The university provides guidelines for hardware at http://hsc.usf.edu/is/standards/hardware.html.

Internet Access
Users must have access to the Internet to connect to online classes; high-speed connections are recommended.
