Paraprofessional-To-Teacher Program

The Paraprofessional-To-Teacher program at USF is designed to enable paraprofessionals in the classroom to complete their upper division coursework in Exceptional Student Education while remaining employed in their school district. As a participant in this part time program, you could be eligible for tuition assistance. Most participants are able to complete the program of studies in 8 semesters.

Para-To-Teacher Program

Personnel Development Partnerships Grant

The Para-To-Teacher Support Program provides

financial assistance for paraprofessionals to earn a

bachelor’s degree in special education. The program

provides tuition supportand book stipends for minimum

of two courses per semester to paraprofessionals who

are currently working in Florida’s public schools assisting

students with disabilities. Upon completion of the program,

the participant agrees to teach students with disabilities

in aFlorida Public school.
