The Indian government has received monetary aid from the United States on the condition that the aid is to be used to benefit the people of India. As funds are limited, the Indian government has to decide which issue should take precedence, whom  the money should be spent on and how. The government is inviting interest groups to present their proposal in a national forum that will be held at its capital, New Delhi. Your group will represent an interest group made up of 3 members: the peace activist, the environmentalist & the human rights activist. Each student will research his/her role in order to convince their group that his/her issue is the most important. The group will then have to decide which issue is most important. The webquest will culminate with each group presenting their views to the class (the government), using visuals to complement their speech.
