>OASIS registration
Summer 2006, Monday May 8, a new section of Classroom Management – ESE 4322/5344, Session A. Meeting time is Tuesday and Thursday 9-12:30 is being added to the schedule.
Always check both Distance Learning, On-Line (Web-based) and Tampa Campus for SSE courses. Our SSE 4600/5641 Reading & Basic Skills and some SSE 6932 Special Topics course are offered as on-line courses.
All Students
Do not come to the first class meeting of a course that is closed in the hope that you will be admitted. Faculty do not admit students to classes. The only way to enter SSE courses is through the registration and drop/add system. You can check OASIS frequently during the registration and the drop/add period during the first week of classes to register for the open seat should someone drop or be removed due to lack of prerequisites.
In most cases, it takes at least 4 terms to graduate or get to the internship from when students are officially admitted to the program, regardless of the number of hours accumulated prior to admission. This is due to the course sequence/prerequisites, course availability, course offerings conflicts, and the University policy that:
-
fully admitted graduate certificate and degree seeking graduate students register first,
-
then fully admitted undergraduate students based on earned credit hours register second, and
-
then non-degree seeking students --
-- all on a first come, first served basis based on the alphabetical appointment times for registration. If you are newly admitted to the program, because you may register last, you can expect some problems getting SSE 4333 or SSE 4334 your first semester. It is essential that you always register at your first available registration time.
