M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction - Secondary Education

Concentration in Foreign Language Education

This Master's in Education (minimum of 33 semester hours) is designed for professional educators specializing in Foreign Language/ESOL who wish to pursue advanced study.  The M.Ed. allows for students to select courses in their specialization inside the College of Education or from other colleges.

The Foreign Language Education program will administer a comprehensive exam to evaluate the student’s ability to apply the knowledge gained through the coursework taken in the College of Education and in courses taken in the student’s area of specialization. The examination will be coordinated through the FLE faculty advisor.  Students will select three questions to answer from a selection of questions reflecting the content of all courses, excluding electives.
