Dr. Carey's research interests include Classroom Measurement/ Assessment, Learner-Centered Assessment, Educational Program Evaluation, and Research in Instructional Design. She is author of two widely-used textbooks including, Measurement and Evaluation of School Learning published by Pearson and The Systematic Design of Instruction published by Allyn & Bacon. She has published her research in journals such as Educational and Psychological Measurement, Academic Exchange Quarterly, and International Journal of Educology.
