Dr. Rodriguez’s interests include collaborative evaluation, multi-cultural and international evaluation capacity building, metaevaluation, and project management. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Evaluation; Educating Exceptional Children; Education and Urban Society; Education Horizons; Frontiers of Education in China; Evaluation and Program Planning; International Journal of Diversity in Organisations, Communities & Nations; International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences, International Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Change Management; International Journal of Leadership in Education: Theory & Practice, International Journal of Learning; International Journal of Technology, Knowledge, & Society; and Journal of East Normal University (Educational Sciences). She is author of the book entitled: Collaborative Evaluations: A Step-by-Step Model for the Evaluator, and coauthor of the book entitled: School Principals.
Dr. Rodríguez is nationally and internationally recognized for her collaborative approach to evaluation. She has been awarded with several honors and educational scholarships at the national and international levels. For example, she is a recipient of the American Evaluation Association’s Marcia Guttentag Award. Also, she was awarded a Faculty Fellowship from the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE) and the University of South Florida’s Hispanic Heritage Faculty Award. She currently serves as the board of directors’ chair at the Evaluation Capacity Development Group and as the program chair of the Collaboration, Participatory, and Empowerment Evaluation Topical Interest Group at the American Evaluation Association.
