M.A. in Reading K-12
Purpose: The Reading Program is designed for those who wish to become certified in Reading Education K-12 through a master's degree. Applicants to the Plan II certification program must hold a professional teaching certificate or have graduated from a state-approved certification degree program in education.
Exams: Passing scores on the FTCE (SAE --Subject Area Exam Reading K-12) is required to exit/graduate from the program. Students must provide an official FTCE score report (no copies) to their advisor, in addition to having it reported to USF.
Transition Point Projects: Students must successfully complete a Transition Point Project after each block of courses.
