Teacher Leadership for Student Learning Certificate

Overview

The Elementary and Early Childhood Teacher Leadership for Student Learning Certificate is comprised of four courses with applied tasks designed to prepare teachers with an understanding of how they can work side by side their colleagues and principal / directors to improve student learning at their school.  Within the certificate coursework, teachers will learn about teacher leadership as well as the skills to engage in and lead teacher research, coach for student learning, and facilitate high quality job-embedded learning at their schools. This program is best suited for those educators currently teaching in PK - 12 education. At minimum, you must have access to a classroom to complete program requirements.

The Teacher Leadership for Student Learning Graduate Certificate was developed with input from local school district partners.  The Elementary and Early Childhood Teacher Leadership for Student Learning Graduate Certificate prepares participants to meet the National Teacher Leader Model Standards and the National Staff Development Council’s Standards, now referred to as Learning Forward.
