Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a Concentration in Career and Workforce Education

The mission of the Career and Workforce Education program at USF is to prepare a new generation of educators, researchers, and policymakers who understand interdisciplinary education-and-work connections and serve as catalysts for change in K-12 and postsecondary education, community, and government settings. In the pursuit of this mission, we seek to become Florida’s premier graduate program in career and workforce education.

Our vision is to create and provide rigorous instruction building upon online delivery systems to meet the diverse contemporary needs of professionals in the field. Program graduates have reported overwhelming satisfaction with our programs and have successfully advanced their careers in universities, community colleges, K-12 education, state agencies, community organizations and other settings in the career and workforce education continuum.
