USF College of Education – It’s Happening Here!
The USF College of Education has granted over 50,000 degrees, and our graduates are making a difference in lives across America. Our graduates are educators, scholars, national award winners, superintendents, and other leaders who have dedicated themselves to improving education at all levels.
Recent accomplishments:
- Graduated the largest or second largest number of educators in the state of Florida over the last 10 years
- The USDOE ranks us the 9th largest public college of education overall; 33rd in degrees awarded to international students; 12th for degrees awarded to African American students; and 15th for degrees awarded to Latino/Hispanic students.
- We are an iTunes U! With the click of a button, students, teachers, and the general public can access a wide array of high-quality digital resources at: itunes.usf.edu.
- According to the "University Social Media Report, 2011,"published by Web Strategy Research, we rank 4th out of 270 universities for our iTunes U content, behind only Duke, Penn. State and U.C. Berkeley.
You can make a difference in advancing the needs of our state and nation and the mission of the College by investing through your philanthropic giving. Opportunities for investment included financial need and merit based scholarships and fellowships, STEM education, leading-edge technology programs for teaching and learning, programs in economic education and financial literacy, and literacy programs based in early childhood and secondary education. Thank you for your support!
