MAT/ESOL - NEW ELECTRONIC ESOL PORTFOLIO THROUGH CHALK & WIRE
Important Information about ESOL Endorsement
All MAT Students who took ESOL 1 in Spring 2009 or later will no longer need to put together a hard-copy ESOL Binder. The ESOL endorsement will be documented via the Chalk & Wire ePortfolio.
-
You submit the critical assignments to your ESOL instructor for assessment (see list of tasks in each course below).
-
At the end of each ESOL course, you submit an electronic copy of the ESOL course checklist for your instructor to verify your completion of the corresponding ESOL Performance Standards.
-
You can locate this document on the Chalk and Wire Resources Page at: http://www.coedu.usf.edu/main/chalkandwire/resources.htm. Upload and submit this document to the instructor teaching your class. Your instructor will provide an electronic check off in lieu of the old paper checklist..
-
Any questions please refer to the ESOL Office, EDU 266, (813) 974-6880.
