ESOL Portfolio (ESOL Binder):
- for English Language Education students
- for Foreign Language Education students
- for Special Education students
- for Early Childhood & Elementary Education students who started before Fall 2002
If you fit into one of the categories above, you will need to create an ESOL Portfolio (ESOL Binder). The initial set-up instructions for the Binder will be given to you in your FLE 4317 (Formerly FLE 4315) class and you will complete the ESOL Binder during the second ESOL class - FLE 4316. However, you need to add all your work related to ESOL from your ESOL-infused courses. Click on the link for set-up instructions (ESOL binder set-up).
The ESOL Integration Portfolio is a collection of the ESOL-related material developed by the students in the ESOL endorsed classes during the course of their study. This collection proves that the student have met the ESOL Performance Standards. In addition to the graded ESOL related assignments, the students are required to include a one-page reflection summary for each course.
