TSL 5085 (old FLE 5430) - ESOL 1:
Theory and Practice of Teaching ELLs
This course is designed for undergraduate degree holding, preprofessional (preservice) teachers in order to prepare them to provide linguistically and culturally appropriate instruction, assessment and learning opportunities for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students in the content areas. This will include an overview of equity issues as they relate to linguistically diverse populations, as well as practice in planning for multilevel and inclusive pedagogy.
