Future School Administrators take one course to meet the state ESOL requirements.

Required Course: EDG 6931 - ESOL for School Psychologists and School Counselors

They do NOT obtain an ESOL endorsement.

EDG 6931 - ESOL for School Psychologists and School Counselors is an ESOL course designed especially to deal with the ESOL issues that are relevant to School Psychologists and School Counselors and meets the 60-hour ESOL education requirement for Category IV school personnel as determined by the Florida Department of Education – This course does not grant an ESOL certification, however no further certification or course work is required at this time for Category IV School Personnel.
