Distance Learning
The Instructional Technology program offers numerous courses via a distance. In fact, the entire Ed.S. and M.Ed. can be obtained online. This is a proposed schedule of course offerings via a distance. Please note that this may change (especially in the summer) based on funding. Check the Course Offerings details about the courses and the options each semester. Note that many of these courses are also offered on campus, and enrollment in the online sections may be limited. Students should communicate with their advisors to determine which options are most appropriate. |

Some of the courses are entirely online; others begin with an orientation meeting on a Saturday at the beginning of the semester. At this initial meeting, the students meet their professor, review the course requirements, receive information on course materials, and receive answers to any questions they may have about the course. Throughout the semester, the students work individually on course projects and assignments. In addition, they can collaborate with their classmates, and they will be guided through the activities with online and/or telephone discussions with their professor. Projects and assignments will be sent to the course instructor via the Internet. |
