Masters
of Education Graduation
Graduation Information
Students must apply to graduate during
the term in which they plan to complete degree requirements. An
Application
for Degree (available from the College of Education Graduate Advising
Office,
EDU 106, or the Registrar, SVC 1034) must be submitted to the Office of
the Registrar by the deadline noted in the
Registrar's Events Calendar for the
term
in which students expect to graduate. This deadline is usually within
the
first four weeks of classes. If your graduation is delayed, a new
application
must be completed again for the term graduation is anticipated. Also, a
student who expects to graduate in the summer term may participate in
the
spring commencement ceremony by submitting the Request to Attend the
Spring
Graduation Ceremony Form by the spring semester graduation application
deadline.
Information
will be sent to you outlining
the where, when, and how of commencement. There is no rehearsal so
following
directions, both written and oral, at the ceremony is the key to a
flawless
commencement. If information is not received, the student should
contact
the Office of the Registrar. The University Bookstore handles the
measuring
and ordering of caps and gowns for commencement.
For more information, please contact Dr. Steve Downey (813) 974-7952 or Dr. Glenn Smith at (813)974-7922.
