EDK EME 6930 Prog Lang Ed: Web Programming 1

INSTRUCTOR: Giti Javidi

Welcome to the home page for EME 6930 Programming Languages in Education: Web Programming 1, a course offered by the Instructional Technology Program in the Department of Secondary Education of the College of Education at the University of South Florida. . (This course can be used to satisfy part of the language requirement for Ph.D. programs in Education governed by USF graduate catalogs published before Fall 1999. However, those requirements were revised around 1998 to offer many more options, and starting with the 1999-2001 catalog they may have been done away with altogether for you (depending upon your program), so you should consult with your major professor in this matter.) If you are interested in enrolling as a Distance Learner, send me an email message detailing how you meet the following special prerequisites:

1) previous programming experience, knowledge of and experience in using basic data structures (e.g. scalar and arrayed variables) and basic control structures (e.g. if, case, for, do.);
2) email and the ability to use it to send messages with attachments;
3) some previous experience with HTML;
4) your own web space at which you already know how to publish web pages;
5) a Windows 95 system (or later)
6) Willingness to come to Tampa one time for the final exam.
