CAROUSEL houses several initiatives that focus on research and dissemination to state, national, and international audiences.

With its focus on recruiting and retaining underrepresented groups for urban teaching careers, CAROUSEL  houses teacher education projects that provide students with financial and moral supports.  Professional development is a critical component and myriad opportunities are structured for students and faculty to interact intellectually.
