African American Males in Special Education: Their Attitudes and Perceptions Toward School Counselors and School Counseling Services

The goal of this research project is to design and conduct a qualitative study, using the face-to face interviewing method, for African- American male students enrolled in special education. The objective of this investigation is to examine African-American male students’ perceptions and attitudes toward school counselors and school counseling services. Take as a whole, this study seeks to collect qualitative data to better understand the school counseling experiences of African-American male students who are enrolled in special education curricular.
