African American Student Success Factors

This qualitative study has three objectives. First, it seeks to identify research-based factors that contribute to the academic success of African American students as determined by teachers and administrators. Second, it strives expand the knowledge base in education to include these factors and legitimate additional inquiry into such areas. Third, the results can be utilized for wider dissemination and assist in academic improvement strategies.
