Let's Talk About It

The need for research focused on the utility of student perceptions, to foster self-regulated decision-making processes, that demonstrate self-determined communication behaviors that result in beneficial social and academic outcomes, is critical. The purpose of this research study is to illuminate relationship between and among 1 adolescent perceptions about the use of selected theatre rehearsal technique activities, to strengthen personal communication development and decision making processes; 2 documented school criteria defining successful student communication performance outcomes; and 3 formal and informal reassessment reports of observable, persistent and appropriate changes in self-regulated student social dialogue behavior choices.
